It wasn’t the task force, it was supposedly someone “close to” to task force, meaning it’s Acosta himself (he sits right near task force people during briefings)

“We pulled this out of our butt”.
Pay no attention to the attempts at sourcing, they just make up what they need. Why not? It’s not like they are accountable to anyone for anything.
