Speaking of coins, and a recipe...

One recipe for not getting and passing along a virus,
is not to touch it.

So touch whatever “it” is (Elevator buttons, etc.)
with something that a virus has a very hard time remaining
intact upon. Like fine copper.

Consider carrying a common .999 fine one ounce copper
coin for this purpose. It works even after the coin has
developed a patina, but you can clean that off with
ketchup. (Rub in, soak for 15 minutes or so, then rinse.)

Don’t be cleaning any valuable coins this way!

Well, well, welly, well. Remember today's briefing when the Donald talked about using light to kill the virus? And was that possible?

Of course the leftard media jumped all over that like he was the biggest retard in town.

Columbia researcher David Brenner believes far-UVC light—safe for humans, but lethal for viruses—could be a ‘game changer.’

A technique that zaps airborne viruses with a narrow-wavelength band of UV light shows promise for curtailing the person-to-person spread of COVID-19 in indoor public places.

The technology, developed by Columbia University’s Center for Radiological Research, uses lamps that emit continuous, low doses of a particular wavelength of ultraviolent light, known as far-UVC, which can kill viruses and bacteria without harming human skin, eyes and other tissues, as is the problem with conventional UV light.

President Donald Trump offered up bizarre and possibly dangerous suggestions about medical research on the coronavirus at his daily White House briefing, suggesting that blasting patients with “tremendous” amounts of UV light, even “inside of the body” as well as injecting them with the same disinfectants that are used to kill the viruses on surfaces might be effective treatments for Covid-19.

The President even asked some Doctor nerd on the dais if they'd ever heard of this light thing. The pencil pushing desk jockey said that she had not. Our President is more aware of cutting edge research than his own help. How embarrassing for them.

Looks like the derps got walked into another one. How many times will it take before they learn that the Donald just doesn't pull things outta his anoos when he's talking. EVERY SINGLE time he says something they think is from outer kookville, it very soon proves to be real.

One of these years, they just might start taking him seriously.

Long before I ever heard of CV, I made a practice of avoiding touching such surfaces with my hands, a trick I picked up from my dear late mother.

If I don’t have a paper towel for a door knob, I will just use my own clothing as a barrier between my hand and the door knob. Light switches get my elbow, and flushing is done with my foot. In a restaurant, my hands are washed after I have handled the menu, and I use a napkin to handle the salt shaker, etc.

My adult children have snickered at me for years. I think I am getting the last laugh now.
