I never played team sports, but I can say from other endeavors that one of the best things life has to offer is to work with friends you trust. I do a fair amount of volunteer work in retirement, and it’s the people that keep me at it.

Great receivers are one thing, receivers that will be where they’re supposed to be on timing plays or intimately known rout runners for when the line is blocking view downfield, is something else entirely.
I suppose practice might square that away, but never seemed to when he was at NE. Receivers either did or didn’t and not much changed during the remainder of the season. Those that didn’t just never got much field time.
