It was coming, anyway. Prior to the internet, stock market prices, movie listings, car listings, employment ads, and local stores all had ads. Our paper would have two pages of local theater movie ads, five pages of classifieds.

Nobody advertises in newspapers anymore.

Printing costs went way up. Delivery costs went way up. Advertising revenue went way down.

Our stores were still advertising in the local papers and also on the internet. That was before CoronaChan. Now there’s no ads on line or paper.
