So why pretend it couldnt possibly have happened
It probably did come from a lab now that the media is starting to admit possibility

My guess is that many have just about given up in finding a naturally occurring intermediary. It has been months now. And if the Chinese already know the intermediary was the lab, they already know it will never be found.
Their PR yesterday that the WHO couldn’t prove the lab didn’t concoct or leak it, which is hardly a flat denial. Add to that the fact that Chinese labs have notoriously leaked Corona Viruses before, and Occam’s Razor is starting to kick in.
