On the topic of Lexington....

When the Epstein power outage happened (before Epstein didn’t kill himself and he was in jail), I got info from TransomAnon saying that the power outage extended to LEXINGTON. (street in NYC). That was mentioned as significant.

Can’t remember all the details at the moment. But that one stuck in my mind. It was interesting at the time, but didn’t seem quite as significant then as it does now!

Patriot’s Day

The holiday was originally celebrated on April 19, the actual anniversary of the battles (fought in 1775).

Since 1969, it has been observed on the third Monday in April in some places.

The most significant celebration of Patriots’ Day is the Boston Marathon, which has been run every Patriots’ Day since April 19, 1897

Paul Revere. He is best known for his midnight ride to alert the colonial militia in April 1775 to the approach of British forces before the battles of Lexington and Concord, as dramatized in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s poem, “Paul Revere’s Ride” (1861).

Between 9 and 10 p.m. on the night of April 18, 1775, Joseph Warren told Revere and William Dawes that the king’s troops were about to embark in boats from Boston bound for Cambridge and the road to Lexington and Concord.

“one if by land, two if by sea”

the movements would ultimately take the water route, and therefore two lanterns were placed in the steeple
