Rigs reaching up over the landscape like mechanical fingers.
I used to count them each morning in 2016-17, wondering if another had been added.

In parts of Texas they pay people to use electricity from windmills. Late at night, electricity has a negative price.

I wonder if we'll reach that point with oil.
