For Q to be Jim Watkins, he’d have to be working in conjuction with Trump. Too many “coincidences” with Trump’s timing, tweets and much more, for Q to be Watkins. The idea that Watkins and Trump are tightly working together is ludicrous. Your son is a good coder and smart but needs to have some common sense and an open mind.
If a person looks at something (in this case, Q) with an open mind - “Let me mee if it’s real or not” - they will see. If they look with the preconceived attitude that “I know Q is fake, let me find ( or twist) evidence that supports my belief”, their mind will reject any evidence that doesn’t support their foregone conclusion. So your son will not be convinced unless he opens his mind and looks for truth, not just evidence that supports what he believes.
My son has a big problem with Q's tripcode... part of one of his first emails is below. He is a pretty smart person. And will take a lot of convincing...
There's two main ways to verify identity. Tripcodes and PGP keys.
Tripcodes are either insecure or restricted to a certain platform. You can't have both. If your tripcode is "4pRcUA0lBE" (generated by the password "NowC@mes with the DES/crypt(3) algorithm), then it's insecure and crackable. That's what Q was using on 4chan/8chan.
8chan added a "secure" tripcode feature that adds an extra layer of difficulty in cracking the password. But that layer of security is specific to 8chan. Q can't be verified on any other platform.
PGP keys are not restricted to a particular platform like tripcodes are. If Q's messages were signed with PGP keys, he could send messages through email, or BitTorrent, or Reddit, or Facebook, or anywhere, and anyone could verify that the message came fro............
