Because despite what you read hydroxychloroquine is not that impressive in hospitalized patients. Because remdesivir specifically targets the corona virus mechanism. Because. we need a way to treat vented patients that works. That’s why

And there you have quite properly explained the extreme stupidity of the approach that is being advanced. Thank you for doing so, even if it was not your intent.

But hydroxy with zinc and zpac is quite impressive and a whole heck of a lot cheaper.

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Do you mean that HCQ can only be administered orally?

I’ve also read that the Gilead drug has some bad side effects. Hard on the liver.

_______________

Do you believe the Zelenko protocol with hundreds of successful cases that DIDN’T go to hospitalization and/ or intubation was just an ‘anecdotal’ fluke? OF COURSE HCQ alone is not effective once the virus has silently attacked multiple organs because it was allowed to replicate in the host without the zinc interference of the Zelenko protocol.

IF used early in symptoms the HCQ + Zinc + AZ does reduce the viral load. You are referring to hospitalized patients. Such patients are being over run by the viral load, which has reached the point of attacking the organs not just the lungs, lungs which are already heavily damaged. To expect the Trump pills to repair the damage is unrealistic.

HCQ acts to reduce inflammation in the airways, but it does ferry ZINC into the infected cells which have not died, so it does reduce viral load, especially effective if the symptoms are treated early on. And that's the way this cocktail will help get the nation back at work ... if the drug cocktail is allowed to be written by any physician or physician's assistant before hospitalization is needed.

As you know, the virus attacks via the ACE2 receptors. Once a person is hospitalized, the virus is raging throughout the body, attacking not just the lungs but the organ systems, too.

Because despite what you read hydroxychloroquine is not that impressive in hospitalized patients.

From what i've read, the suggested mechanism is that hydroxychloroquine is an ionophore that greatly increases cellular intake of Zinc, and it is the Zinc that is gumming up the virus's replication process.

The New York doctor that supposedly treated 600+ patients included Zinc Sulfate as part of his treatment.

If the theory is correct, the hydroxychloroquine will be considerably less effective if used in the absence of supplemental Zinc.
