Anyone receive the stimulus checks yet?

I honestly don’t need or want it. I’m working from home. My kids are all working (2 from home) yet they will get it. That’s stupid they haven’t missed a thing. After they give all this free money away, I will guarantee that I and those like me will have to pay for it. Too “rich” to get a break and to poor to afford the tax dodges.

How about just letting people go back to work if they want to and let people hide in their closet if they want too. You know individual decisions, responsibility, risk/benefit analysis.

FYI, my son owed on his taxes and paid with his bank account. He just got his check deposited a few mintues ago.

Not always. My 2019 AGI was slightly less than my 2018. I’ll be getting a few dollars more than if I had not filed in 2019. Just a few dollars, maybe $15, but still more because I’d filed my 2019.

Right, tax forms ask no PROOF of citizenship. I have voted in Illinois, WA & FL due to changing residences. No one ever asked me to produce my Naturalization certificate.

I heard those who filed 2018 and 2019 tax returns with direct deposit first, then those who filed 2018, 2019 tax returns with live checks mailed to homes finally to those who have not filed in several years getting info from ssi.

some people actually have to GO TO WORK because their jobs are essential....seems to me they should get a huge bonus from the country and a big thankyou...

instead, the non essential are lumped in with the essential ones...

Nope, and based on the income tables I'm not going to get one, even though my ex-wife gets a significant amount of my paycheck (court ordered alimony) and subtracting that I'd qualify to get one.
