I had the same reaction about the thought of Brennan flipping. Of course, even if he didn’t, it would be great if the thought that he did has put more DS villains in a panic.

I don't think he's flipped but I don't have a hard time imagining that. I see Brennan as a blowhard and a bully when he's got the full institutional power of the federal government backing him up. But on his own? He's a coward, a liar and a cry baby. He's much less than a man. He'd be first in line to sell out his accomplices if he thought that would save his miserable butt.

Thinking of Brennan flipping made me think of Saddam Hussein crawling out of his hidey hole. Cowards cry for mercy when justice comes. I agree that Brennan would sell his own mother if he thought it would save him.

I have the same opinion.

I don’t believe ANY of those in the DS are motivated by anything but self-interest. I believe that their actions are fully dictated by what they perceive as optimal for themselves.

If they think they can rise through the ranks of the DS by being “loyal”, they will do that. If they think they can save their own butt, they will do that.
