He actually has been using more of a pedantic tone, like a teacher rather than his usual. I’m probably ridiculously optimisitic but I think it may be rubbing off on the press corpse (sic) a bit. If he can teach them some respect and get them to knock off the BS gotcha questions, it would be a monumental accomplishment. He’s almost never stumped or caught off guard by a question no matter how hard they try. And as long as they behave, he treats them with respect, which probably surprises them. They are certainly seeing the intelligent and knowledgeable real Trump, not the “rally Trump” or the teleprompter Trump.
Very good observations. Perhaps he will reach some of them. Others, like Acosta, are unteachable.
I am a very patient person, and I will tolerate a fair amount out of people, but Trump leaves me in awe when he deals with these snarky “journalists”.
