And they are quite serious about such constructs.
They can be or appear quite submissive, even evidently quite humble in some contexts. But their The Middle Kingdom means of the whole universe. The center of the universe.
Many are eager to enable China to rule the world and they don't care that much about the cost to make it happen--to them or others.

They believe a particular race, with a particular religious mindset (atheist) should rule the world?
Unlike the world being led by mixed raced American mutts, with a religious bent, and a deep set belief in liberty and freedom?
sounds a little racist to me.
Chinese firmly believe it is their turn to rule the world and that America is going down a la Rome.
