Some call this “The Chinese Century.”
Some call this “The Chinese Millenium.”
And they are quite serious about such constructs.

And just from my own readings, here and elsewhere:
China has been buying natural resrouces and trans. hubs and ports all over the world. Hell, Carter gave China the Panama Canal. They are known to have huge expansionist aims and have been working on this for decades.
China buys mines, moutaints, water ways etc esp. in third world countries, and the dictators/elites pocket the money, the people left with nothing, and are often enslaved by the new owners.
Remember Pompeo mentioned about governers’ connections with China, how many media outfits are bribed by China and post ultra pro-China propagnada (WaPo for one), and on and on. These examples are just drops. How many Chinese spies here in the US? In univerisities? etc.
