I knew guys who liked the violence.
But mostly against folks that really couldn’t get back at them.
I knew gangsters that laughed at pushing old men and women downstairs.

There are older guys that were like him, like one of my uncles, who has passed.
But he was 91 and his sharing in the violence had long passed. At least directly sharing in it.
He was easy to love...to us, his family.
