If you don’t know anybody that’s starting to feel the despair from the economic shutdown, you might be the odd man out. I’ve been talking with a couple of friends who are genuinely scared of the future. Not of the virus, but of the government’s over-reaction to it. This shut down is going to close a number of restaurants, bars, other emporiums permanently as the owners on a shoestring budget will not have the funds to re-open.
We’re also seeing our constitution being shredded before our very eyes, a transgression that 100 years ago would have resulted in some hangings of very prominent political types.
We need to get the US open for business again, and soon. I’m certain that extending it to the end of April was not Trump’s first choice, but minus evidence to the contrary, he’s in a precarious situation. Let’s pray that things start leveling off and settling in the hotspots, let’s hope that this all really does come to an end soon.
We cannot stay closed much longer. People that actually DO want to work are hurting now.

Hang on. After Easter, we will see big changes.
Prayers up for those suffering from the shut-down.
