I saw that but, correct me if I’m wrong, I thought it was believed that Graves Disease was a genetic malady, not something that develops from outside the body...
...like a virus.
Autoimmune disorder.
Maybe the spiel that it was/is genetic is convenient cover for the #’s of certain lineages that seem to come by it.
