The daily increase is about 32,000 cases per day.
It is quite possible to guesstimate that the total cases will top out between 1 million and 2 million, which would imply total deaths between 40,000 and 80,000, given the death rate.
The great majority (but NOT ALL!) of the deaths will be people whose health was already severely compromised.
More testing is NOT GOING TO INCREASE THE DEATHS. I think everyone who gets sick now with COVID-19 is getting to a doctor or hospital and getting tested, so additional testing is just for data gathering.
It means the President and MAGA nation are going to have to LEAD AMERICA BACK TO WORK.
As I ranted yesterday, WE HAVE BEEN ATTACKED, and WE ARE AT WAR.
America needs to MOBILIZE as the WWII generation did, with men going to war and women going to the factories of our nation. Have we LESS COURAGE THAN our parents and grandparents? Have we less of the "Right stuff" than Great Britain under Churchill, enduring constant bombing raids of the Luftwaffe?

Did you hear Birx yesterday saying that people that die “with” cv even if many other things going on (heart, elderly, whatever) are designated as dying “of” cv?
Or that small video on my twitter stroll thread, a woman ranting that she was DX with CV even though no test was done, and she had demanded one, and was refused?
One public health type I heard interviewed pointed out that those that died with underlying conditions may have lived for months or years had not they contracted the chinese virus, so in that sense it most certainly was the cause of death.
