Australia's Supreme Court just overturned Pell's conviction unanimously, strongly hinting he was railroaded and suggesting going after the Prosecution in the case.
Unsubstantiated single-source rumors from 22 years ago.
Current thinking from a lot of FReeper Catholics is that Pell was honest and got thrown under the bus by the Commie Mole Francis to get him off their trail. (Pell *was* the treasurer of the Vatican bank, hint hint.)

On March 20, Apotex Inc. said it is donating about 240,000 doses of a drug normally used to treat malaria for a study aimed at preventing COVID-19 infection in front-line medical staff.
The drug, commonly known as hydroxychloroquine, will be used in a clinical trial conducted by Toronto’s University Health Network. It will be given to front-line health care workers in a randomized, controlled trial that includes a placebo to determine whether it would be an effective treatment in preventing further spread of the novel coronavirus which had infected nearly 900 Canadians as of that Friday afternoon, Apotex said in a statement.

Interesting perspective. I don’t claim to know 100% whether he was guilty or railroaded. My hunch, which is nothing more than a hunch and based on what little of know of the case as well as relevant Q drops, is that he was probably guilty. But I’m willing to be convinced otherwise if the evidence points in that direction.
