The post I replied to was implying NY China Flu deaths seem to be disproportionately going after blacks.
Maybe people in Africa, don’t have diabetes, in large numbers like many folks in NY/America do.
All of the taxpayer dollars thrown at free food, housing, healthcare, education, etc haven’t remedied the obesity problem, within the lower income groups.
Yes, and also their ability to get good numbers might be an issue?

That “free food” tends to be of lower quality in general - largely excepting WIC - and most of the people don’t work or work less than full time. They have TVs but not gym club memberships or treadmills and many abuse drugs and alcohol. This leads in general to poorer health on average.
Sorry for all the stereotypes. It’s more of a lifestyle/culture issue than a race issue. I would not be surprised to see it hit other demographics just as hard if those demographics have similar lifestyles.
I haven’t seen the most recent assessment, but about a month ago there were two or three places to get tests.
They were also dealing with locusts, and virus-X.
My guess is they have a lot of issues to deal with—and they are not really counting.
