They ought to pass those Cuomo socks out to the released prisoners and to the homeless, in NYC.

There's a nice graph on this link to send to people who don't understand why social distancing is important. Scroll down.

I’m not going to defend Fauci at all, but that story about trusting China numbers was a Fox story with a date of 19 February. Even the other day President Trump was talking about how great a relationship he personally had with Xi.

If we should not be trusting Chinese numbers (and I most certainly do not) we should also be cautious about taking public statements about China at face value. I think there may be more than a little bit of diplomacy going on (”diplomacy is the art of saying ‘nice doggy’ while you look for a big stick.”)

My working hypothesis is that China has us, for the moment, over a barrel. President Trump is trying to get us out of the predicament and then push back.

Now, Fauci’s talk of China’s numbers may have nothing to do with my hypothesis, but someday I may know one way or the other.

In closing, I have found these daily threads a great source of information and all who have been positively contributing have my thanks.

There is a silver lining with this COVID-19. It seems as though all the other deaths in the country have stopped. No stats no info so I guess it just isn’t happening.

Chicago must be be a safe zone now.

The governor of New York Cuomo is going to takes stockpile ventilators from upstate hospitals to use in New York City.

He thinks the hospitals in the upstate don’t need the extra ventilators. He is not considering if the surge coming to the upstate hospitals.

So he is punishing the upstate hospitals for proper planning when New York city failed to purchase the recommended supplies of ventilators.

He claims he will return the ventilators, if not he will give them money for it.

Governor Cuomo does not like non-city folks.

I really wish the Post Office would stop sending me BS mail.

If it’s not a bill or a check, THROW IT AWAY! If it’s an odd size envelope that is going to cause me to fumble around trying to pick it up with gloves, DON’T SEND IT TO ME!

Publisher’s Clearing House can **** right off!

News expands to fill the space available and conversely.
With Corona dominating the space, it’s not so much a coverup as a squeezing out.

Just supposition. I suppose when the change involves a series of nucleotides, the longer the series the less likely that it happened randomly.

A scientist involved in gene splicing has seen small random mutations “under the microscope” (the sequencing data), and has also seen larger engineered insertions or swap-outs in samples he or his colleagues have tinkered with. I expect with experience he can tell the difference, based largely on length and likelyhood.

I was going to try to construct makeshift hepa filter masks, but in this video, this doctor says not a good idea.

Filters are constructed of glass micro fibers. Not good to inhale, especially if they’ve been cut. Many layers needed in order to function properly etc...

The hotel will be destroyed by the homeless.

If they are willing to live on the street and ni tents, the pitch some medical tents up and let them use those.

I had a theory about why Fauci might be saying some of these things.

Isn't reduced mental capacity a symptom of CV?

I would pay for a mask with someone pointing the middle finger at Fauci with the caption "Don't wear masks."
