I thought the FDA has approved emergency use of the HCQ/Zpack treatment.

Could be shortages are holding it up?

Approved for a certain kind of use. NYC or NY is supposed to be doing a trial but Cuomo outlawed it otherwise as did Michigan governor. Have no idea about FL but was disappointed to hear a few days for test results and they sent them both home, hopefully with instructions to stay away from other people. Let people deliver what you need etc etc. FL is kind of behind the ball on this. My rural State of MO issued stay-at-home order before FL. DeSantis must have been waiting for permission from the tourism board or something.

I can believe there’s a shortage right now for something that’s usually reserved for rheumatoid arthritis and malaria. I imagine and might have read about doctors buying it up for themselves and family. We need US manufacturing capabilities and a national strategic stockpile of a whole lot of things.
