My read of the small business loan language is that the business would not qualify for the loans if they laid off employees.
Many very small business with tight cash flow will not be able to survive long enough to go there—particularly entertainment, restaurant and some retail types of businesses.
Wednesday marked the highest single-day increase in #COVID19 cases in #Florida. 1,032 new positive tests brings the overall total to 7,773. 101 people have died.

Florida is another up and coming “hot spot”.

With restaurants and store front retail, especially, local government is going to have to act quickly to save some of the more endangered, yet viable ones.
These small businesses are always going to be best served by local government, if at all. (crazy, I know)
