For some good news:
The medicine Tocilizumab (tradename Actemra) seems to be working well in the fight against covid19. I know of one NYC specialist doctor, Dr Patel, critically ill and on vent, improved and discharged after given this med.

34 y/o with B/l extensive crazy paving, consolidations, GGOs. On 10 litres, <92%. One dose Actemra, within 24 hrs, 98% on RA, discharged.
54 yo F, on vent, pressors, 100% O2 requirements, s/p 2 doses of Actemra, extubated today.

Another doctor I follow, Dr Sam Girgis (@csentropy) responded: “Tocilizumab works”
university of michigan is using that drug.
