You know what I wish?

I wish we could all go back to that time.

I’d love to ride a motorcycle down a beach right about now.

Ugh, I guess a lot of people must be thinking the same thing.

“Taking a trip?”

I have a dvd set of all the episodes. One company still makes “Bronson bags”. The original easy rider....

Something my sister and I discussed yesterday.

Maybe illnesses would be less likely to spread if cancellation / postponing policies for airlines and cruises were more flexible. I don’t know how that could be worked out without the companies being left in a lurch and losing money.

If you’ve paid $4,000 for a cruise and get sick three says before sailing ... you’re going to cruise. The other option is to lose $4,000. Good travel insurance would cover this, but many (most?) people don’t buy that.

Ditto for air fares, which usually are non-refundable. You CAN pay a higher price and lose only a portion of the fare if you need to reschedule, but most don’t do that.

Maybe raise the basic costs of cruises and air fares which would roll in an insurance-type flexibility. Whatever it takes to encourage ill people to stay home until they’re well ...

“As this thing goes on, it’s going to cause a good number of folks to crack and break. Maybe it will do that to me too, I don’t know.”

Per my initial schedule, I cracked 3 weeks ago, on Wednesday.

SOMEONE is planting a garden this year.

Lots of someones...

Burpee sold out of most beans, peas, Jungs sold out of lots of different pumpkin and squash varieties.

been shopping those two for years and haven’t seen that sort of sellout situation in early April before.

Maybe people will learn new ‘tricks’ and hang on to them going forward.

I can’t believe how out of touch the rich guys from NY/DC are in trying to address this situation. Eric Bolling on Steve Bannon’s show right now pushing Eric’s offensively bad program yet again. Unfortunately Eric says he had the opportunity to pitch it to Trump and Kudlow and it’s going to Mnuchin right now.

It would give every household in America a $2300 a month debit card that would only be good for 30 days and would allow, for example, $1000 a month to be spent only on restaurants and food, $1000 a month on healthcare, $300 a month on transportation, etc. The stuff that poor people need—rent, monthly payments on credit, etc.—expressly wouldn’t be allowed.

So we spend hundreds of billions a month on largely frivolous, expensive restaurant meals. The upper middle class has a field day. A massive underground economy blooms. And just a massively misguided program.

What scares me is Kudlow taking this seriously. But these guys live in the luxury lifestyle of Manhattan and to them, this is somehow helping the “little guy”.

Has anyone been watching the India numbers? They are entering the exponential phase.

For some reason, my heart aches more for India than most other countries. I know there are millions living in squalor who simply cannot get out of the way of this thing.

Way to pick the highest flu data in decades.

Bullshit numbers. Bullshit stats.

You guys continue to miss the story. You guys are counting raindrops while the storm rages.

This is the activity of fools.
