In the Official Media, the only position allowed is that Covid-19 "jumped" to the human population because they eat bats sold in the wet markets. Pictures of Chinese heathen eating bat soup proved their case. No effort whatsoever is made to explain why it took a virus 5,000 years to learn to jump. Of course, the existence of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a biosafety level 4 (BSL–4) laboratory should be of no concern, you conspiracy theorist you! (Lab? What lab?) The Boy Scouts in the Chinese government have asserted all this and, of course, they would never lie about a thing like that.

Now, the Politburo may be evil tyrants and possible sociopaths but what they are not is stupid. If in fact Corona came from the wet markets, no way in hell would they allow the markets to reopen, right?
