The father of a two-month-old infant in Shanghai has created a custom-built pod complete with an air purification system to keep his baby safe from the coronavirus outbreak.
Cao Junjie, 30, refashioned a cat carrier to make the sealable pod that includes an air-quality monitor displaying the concentration of carbon dioxide inside.

Who knew the early 21st Century was going to resemble a sci-fi post-apocalyptic world.
Has anyone heard of any babies or pregnant woman getting coronavirus? I haven’t. Maybe there is some hormone or something there that is a clue.
I have. I’ve heard of a 1 year old dying from Coro-V, and a 7 month old, still fighting it.

Unnatural. Babies, and people of all ages need human interaction. Humans of all ages are not designed to live in a sterile pod. Use at your own risk.
That’s what I was thinking.
There is a news report out of the British press that pregnant women in China got the virus but their children did not. However, if I remember correctly the pax in the review was 4 to 8 women and that population is to small to know what real/long term effects during pregnancy is. I did not look up or see any data from any other country past that article. It will take a long time and many third party reporting for me to trust Chinese media and government reporting.
I hope it doesn’t fail while he’s not looking.
I mean, made in China can’t be trusted when it’s made in professional factories.
Recently in IL, we had an infant die of COVID.
Tough to feed and change diapers in that rig.
