**While we love our tourists and summer residents**.

So let me get this straight.... full-time residents, AND summer people who own property on the Cape, all pay property taxes to the same tax schedule?

OK, so what is the problem?

We're all in this together. Yeah, right.

FWIW, this time of year, historically, everything is closed until about Memorial Day.

You are correct but I understand the POV of the locals. Their year round stores are not set up to deal with a lot of temps now and the Cape is a pain to get to for deliveries. Same thing here on L.I.. the folks out east, the Hamptons and North Fork are in a similar situation and also having to deal with many more Manhattanites looking to escape. Though given that Suffolk County’s outbreak started on the North Fork it may not be as popular an escape as the Hamptons.
