Lookner - Japan seemed to have control of the virus and smaller numbers. Immediately after the cancellation of the Olympics, their numbers had shot up. Just a coinky-dink, huh.

There are so many countries lying about this virus.

Chris Martenson showed one hospital in Ecuador that was overflowing with patients in intensive care even though they are showing just 2,000 cases in the whole country.

Phillipines—the same—lying big time.

Throw a dart at a map of the world and it would be hard to miss a country that is not undercounting and/or lying about both cases and deaths.

Breakfast is cheap. Eggs are cheap and bread is. Scrambled eggs and toast or even French toast, is NOT expensive and with a few of the right ingredients can be quite a treat.

PB&J is not that expensive.

Nor is egg salad.

Tuna fish sandwiches and grilled cheese with some tomato soup is more but still manageable.

We had very little when we were growing up, but my parents always had fixings for school lunch.

The big problem is. It takes work to do it and that’s where I think most of the people fall flat, although getting in the car and driving to the school probably takes more time than making the meal.

Chinese WMD is of great consequence.

Considering that those who had the SARS vaccine are now doing worse with COVID, I would REALLY, REALLY think very hard about getting a COVID vaccine.

God knows what’s in it, what the long term effects are, and what it could possibly leave you susceptible to in the future, like another bio-engineered virus that targets people who got the vaccine?

Not that I don’t trust the government or the Chinese, but I don’t.

The ratio of dead to recovered is NOT encouraging.

There still ain’t such thing as a free lunch. The two trillion dollars the federal government just borrowed must be paid back somehow. The traditional way the US government does that is with inflation. And at least half the two trillion will be lost to corruption, which means a greater proportion of it than normal will go to inflation as opposed to any benefit to the economy.

Yep....the SARS vaccined people seem to have done much worse, with this nasty China Virus.

Burnet County is so small, they probably don’t even have a Public Health Department. They should should be getting support from the State, but I’m guessing that isn’t happening.

The traditional way the US government does that is with inflation.

These days the economy is so much more complicated than it was in the olden days.

I will give you a very simple example.

Suppose you have a credit card with a thousand dollar limit and you max it out....and you are tapped out for other cash as well.

Suddenly your credit card company calls you up and tells you your credit limit just got raised to $100,000.

You just got new money, a lot of it.

And, .gov didn't print it!

The financial markets these days work like that.

The availability of credit across all types of credit instruments _is_ the money supply--and it is _very_ difficult to keep track of that stuff.

Today, if private credit contracts, unless .gov credit increases to an equal amount, we would actually have deflation.

We don't have firm figures on the proportion of asymptomatic infected to symptomatic infected. There is only a good-enough-for-now figure of at least 50% asymptomatic from the Diamond Princess.

Only those with symptoms are being tested, and way less than all of those. Furthermore the significant differences in defintions of a Wuhan Virus fatality between nationalities mean we can only trust American statistics for virus fatalities, because every American state uses the same defintion.

At best we have American-only figures for an unknown proportion of infected with symptoms to known dead who had the virus. This makes even American-only estimates of the Wuhan Virus' lethality suspect.

I'd be thrilled if we could put some firm numbers on lethality rate. But we still don't know.

Taking this reported rate of 500/day in NYC with its population of 8 million and projecting it out to a country of 330 million would equate to something like 20,000 a day. Extending that at a steady rate would equal 600,000 in a month nationwide.
