I have blue ray. I think the TV is smart—but I’m pretty dumb when it comes to tech. Grand Son in law set up the blue ray so that I could watch Netflix on the big screen.

The remote that came with the TV has a Netflix button on it. We have lousy internet service—and it’s the best that our telephone company offers.

I think we are going to get another company some day—heard a rumit. Hubby doesn’t want to ditch the dish. I could do without it except for local news now and then.

________

Ahhh! Okay my mom’s large screen (I think 60”) which does not have the ability for internet on its own hence the add on of the Roku small box device. There is still the dish available on it but the roku attachment turns it into a TV that will allow access to be able to youtube streaming or their old videos. I can go back to dish and then again to youtube by pressing the options for SAT or the Roku. Anyway just a thought for you and those who might not know about this.

If I can figure it out, I think the Blue Ray System might do something similar to Roku. Thanks.
