President said generators two or three times when referring to respirators durring the breifing yesterday. I think it was a message to us. He doesn’t say the wrong word like that repeatedly unless it is something he wants people to take note of. Generators.
Could be a FF power outage or EMP event next.

Nothing to do with power outage. The hospital area being built in NYC’s central park would need generators. It’s mostly tents.
At least fresh gas for our generators was cheap. We filled all available containers and stabilized.
Interesting. I remember back in 01, before 9-11, we got hit by Tropical Storm Allison. Most of the Houston Medical Center had all their generators located underground, and when the flooding came over the barriers they put up, all the generators got flooded out cutting the power. Most of the equipment ran on backup battery power but those were in many cases uninspected, and many of the battery packs failed, making the respirators and ventilators useless. It was an ‘uge disaster.
There is a technique that doesn’t require a ventilator, it’s called ‘bagging’ and requires someone to sit with the patient and squeeze a bag to fill the patient’s lungs with air.
