Good point....Did some more searching to see if we can get some more specific info.

A WaPo article states that the CDC and FDA have looked into this. It seems that they are saying that while E is used in skin care products and taken orally, there seem to be problems if it is heated and inhaled.

They say the E is used because it is a similar viscosity to the THC oil and that is a way of stretching the THC thickener.

I still am guessing that the oil coats the alveoli and somehow interferes with oxygen exchange.

But I am not a CDC or FDA researcher - so I could be mistaken.
