Hopefully the FDA starts clinical trials in 6 months or so. After all, we have PROCESSES that we must follow.
The problem is that primary care physicians do not have access to hydroxychloroquine. Pharmacies do not have it. If it were available primary care physicians could prescribe it to patients in their earliest stages of fever and cough before shortness of breath begins. Governors are screaming for more ventilators, hospital beds and PPE. However if primary care physicians had access to this common drug, the rush to hospitals would diminish greatly. Resources have to be allocated properly. The crazies blossom in a crisis. Right now physicians and pharmacists are being threatened with sanction by the lunatic governors of Nevada and Michigan if they prescribe or dispense hydroxychloroquine.
A low-carbohydrate diet might keep gut bacteria loads lower, enabling the immune system to better fight the virus. Antibiotics have long been used in poultry production.
Keeping the mouth clean by brushing well and using mouthwash might be helpful to take a burden off the immune system.
I want to see independent confirmation.
The WHO is doing large studies on this and other potential treatments.
The studies are not double - blind, but they are of thousands of people who are infected, with results sent back from all over the world.
Leftists should be protected from the Trump Drug.
Not to the Deep State and their propaganda arm (US media)...
I have no knowledge about approval of drugs, how such approval works, or how much has to be done prior to such approval.
So, it’s silly for me to have any opinion about it.
It reports not only the survival rate, but the rapid decrease in viral load in the patients receiving the drugs, as compared with those not receiving the drugs (hydroxychloroquine sulfate and arizomycin (sp?)).
Given these results, I am of the opinion that wide spread use should be started immediately, then compare the death rates before and after.
At worst, this drug combination is no better than current standard treatment of care. At best, it is a "game changer".
Just a contrasting reminder of our Big Pharma corrupted CDC, including Fauci and Birx:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3829176/posts?page=1
This source predicts 81,000 deaths in the US. That is the same as a bad flu year, .03% of the population. The thing peaks out in April, dies in August.
1 Trump advocates for a drug that doctors have been using successfully during a crisis.
2 Regulations require that it not be used until it undergoes months of exhaustive testing.
3 Blame Trump for people dying.
4 Repeat.
Even Fauci has said the same thing:
