Beau started building the two raised beds around the greenhouse. The slope is too steep to mow, so we thought this would be a good solution. There will be a 2' walkway between the two beds on the south and the two beds on the west, for easier maintenance of the beds. The south-facing bed will be roses and various perennial fillers; the west side will be perennial herbs, annual herbs and annual edible flowers. So excited!

And, of course, it's rained every day since he got the footings cemented in, so it's a work in progress for a while.

Wow, Diana !
That last pix looks great.

I planted radish seeds and transplanted asparagus plants yesterday.
We have ten little tomatoes and a dozen peppers up and healthy, growing under lights in our Beach House.

The Lake of the Ozarks is coming alive this week. Winter Florida lovers are moving back and the weekenders are here, touching up and painting. The lakeside restaurants closed for the winter but are now stuck closed. Grocery stores and pharmacies are open.

Wife emailed a grocery list to our local Wal Mart and picked up without getting out of the car. Its the first time we’ve done this.

Pork chops for lunch today...
