I once stood in rubble on Feb. 5, 1976 after a devastating Earthquake in Guatemala. Five thousand died in San Pedro Sacatepequez. My gut sensation was, ROLL UP THE SLEEVES, THERE IS A LOT OF WORK TO BE DONE, LETS GET BUSY. I remember a friend, lost his wife, the after the burial, he said, LETS GET TO WORK, THERES THINGS THAT NEED TO BE DONE. I am going back to work double shift, and do my part, and spend money, and take risks, and get the Ole Ship launched and sailin’ again. I started dreaming BIG this a.m.
Good for you.
The CV outbreak has nothing to do with my decision. I had made up my mind to start easing myself out of the work world when I became a grandfather. Also having some old pals drop dead from heart attacks at their desks over the last couple of years has also concentrated my mind. They never had a chance to play at grandparents, I’m going to.
Yup,
Back to Work!
Great attitude!
