Italy for example, has been doing covid testing on every corpse that died for ANY reason, even things unrelated to covid, like car accidents. If the corpse happened to test positive for covid, they count it as a covid death.
Not since the Chinese got there.
And Germany has been doing the opposite. You died of what ever comorbidities you had, even if CCP-19 triggered it and it was ten years younger than you would have died from it.
It’ll be a wash, at worst. More people die of CCP-19-called-pneumonia than car-wreck-called-CCP-19. Our prior statistical processes were no better, either. Hanging on to that as somehow discrediting or diminishing the danger is irrational. Bargaining.
Sad that they’re doing that. Their hospitals are getting slammed with actual COVID respiratory cases, and they’re trivializing these folks by exaggerating the death rate.
