That also occurred to me. People who are asymptomatic or nearly so might be getting an extremely low viral load, similar to what they’d get in a vaccine. Their bodies can more easily build the antibodies without getting overwhelmed with symptoms. It is possible that they’d also be less contagious to others around them. That is the primary reason I wear a mask and gloves. I hear all the noise about how it will not protect because the virus is so small, but any mask is far from useless if it cuts down on the number of viruses that get to me. Even if I am not completely protected, a lower dose might make me less sick.
Mask is good.
More helpful to a healthcare worker, but good for all.
Awful lot we don’t know about this. Seems like a very, very serious cold. But that doesn’t help us much to know. And the data is all over, even when it’s even sensible.
