one of the posts on that texags site talked about a coconut oil product that might help with transporting the zinc. dont remember the exact name monolaurel or something like that

Zinc Picolinate is different than monolaurin.

Monolaurin is a medium chain triglyceride and metabolizes differently than long chain fats. Monolaurin has been found to breakdown the lipid layer in vivo of virus. The dose has to be titrated up from 1 to 3 grams per day to prevent possible Herxheimer reaction. We followed 1 gram for 5 days and increasing the dose to 2 grams/day and finally 3 after 10days.

Monolaurin

Monolaurin is known to inactivate lipid-coated viruses by binding to the lipid-protein envelope of the virus, thereby preventing it from attaching and entering host cells, making infection and replication impossible.[12] Other studies show that Monolaurin disintegrates the protective viral envelope, killing the virus.[13][14] Monolaurin has been studied to inactivate many pathogens including Herpes simplex virus[15] and Chlamydia trachomatis.[16]

Zinc Picolinate is more bioavailable than zinc sultanate: Comparative absorption of zinc picolinate, zinc citrate and zinc gluconate in humans.

My opinion is the highest risk population are those suffering insulin resistance. Zinc plays a critical role in metabolism and virus replication.

There are many other references available, I just picked the ones at my fingertips. I noticed both Zinc Picolinate and Monolaurin began to be sold out over a week ago. I think some others have recognized these agents as useful too.

I cant remember if they are thinking the monolaurin helps with the transporation of the zinc..or if taking monolaurin helps with the virus on its own.

I just know it was on the list of things people were talking about taking on that texag site.

If you decide you want to order i can send you a pm of where it is in stock. Amazon does have it but now I dont even want to order from Amazon since the virus is hitting so many of their warehouses.
