Actress and abortion activist Alyssa Milano criticized Texas this week for banning abortions, along with a long list of elective medical procedures, in its efforts to combat the coronavirus.
Milano, who starred in the TV shows Charmed and Whos the Boss?, has become known as an abortion activist in more recent years. Last year, she led campaigns in Hollywood to boycott Georgia and other states that are trying to protect unborn babies from abortion. In the midst of her campaigning, she admitted that she aborted two of her own unborn babies.
On Tuesday, she accused Texas of using the coronavirus crisis to end abortions, according to Breitbart. Though abortions kill unborn babies and often hurt mothers, Milano described them as health care.
Texas is using this crisis to prevent access to a [sic] abortion care, Milano wrote on Twitter, linking to a story about Texas health measures that are being taken to address the coronavirus.
Within the past week, Texas and a number of other states have limited non-essential medical procedures to help prepare for the pandemic. Many hospitals are concerned about a lack of supplies and equipment to treat people with the virus, and the temporary restrictions are one way to ensure medical resources are being used to save lives.
On Monday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton emphasized that Texass executive order applies to abortion facilities as well as non-essential medical providers, Breitbart reports.
No one is exempt from the governors executive order on medically unnecessary surgeries and procedures, including abortion providers, Paxton said. Those who violate the governors order will be met with the full force of the law.
He said such measures are necessary because the pandemic has increased demands for hospital beds and has created a shortage of personal protective equipment needed to protect health care professionals and stop transmission of the virus.
Maryland, Mississippi, Louisiana and Ohio also included abortion facilities in their bans on non-essential surgeries and procedures.
Women do not need to abort their unborn babies to be healthy. Abortions kill unborn babies lives and put mothers at risk. Common abortion complications include infections, blood clots, hemorrhaging and an incomplete abortion where parts of the baby remain inside the mothers womb. Abortion risks include future preterm births, breast cancer, suicide, anxiety/depression, and death. And it simply is not true that abortions are safer than childbirth. Mothers who cannot get abortions are not unhealthy as a result. They become mothers of newborn babies.
State leaders are saving lives by putting a temporary halt to abortions. Their orders protect both the born and unborn by stopping abortion facilities from killing unborn babies and harming mothers in unnecessary procedures. In doing so, they also are conserving much-needed medical supplies for those who really need them.
somebody smack this twit.
Well in CA and NY they’re closing gun-stores so what’s your beef again b*tch?
She can ask the babies that survive (and their mothers) as a result of the stoppage what they think about that in a few years.
Wonder how many abortions she’s had. I’ve always said, it’s futile to debate a guilty conscience.
Then close your legs and stay out of Texas
Well, glad shes weighed in now. /sarc
We watch as a human soul rots from the inside.
Shes glad her mother didnt abort her when she was a fetus. Hypocrite lefty.
This crazy b*tch should go abort herself!
Two reasons.
She is being paid to do the bidding of the democrats.
Who the hell are you anyway?
Who cares what YOU think?
Sounds like something the devil would say.
I just looked up her info, and she has been cursed with 2 kids and had a miscarriage. If she’s so pro-abortion, I wonder why she didn’t abort her 2 kids. Seems she was spared having a child when she had her miscarriage.
Well, if we let them be born, they might get the ‘rona! We have to kill ‘em to save ‘em!
