I’ve made a lot of skydives out of rotary wing aircraft...
NOW- taking into account, all things considered in viewing that image, you are pretty damn close in your estimation of the altitude above the ground.

I do have good sense of vertical distance.
A lifetime of shooting rockets as a kid and now with my grandson.
Besides, I’m always looking up!
