Why wouldn’t they let them have their phones? I’m sure they are monitoring EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY they are talking to. Might gather up some more fish to fry from these peoples contacts. Looks like at this point they are being detained. I assume they still have some rights if they have not been tried and convicted yet.
