Lock down for 3 weeks doesn’t kill anyone and allows us to get a handle on it. Fast burn or slow burn kills people and drags it out longer.

France’s coronavirus death toll higher than official data shows, hospital chief says

The death toll in France from the coronavirus is much higher than the daily government tally, which only accounts for those dying in hospitals, a senior French health official said on Wednesday.
France reported a cumulative 1,100 coronavirus deaths on Tuesday, up from 91 on March 14, a more than tenfold increase in 11 days and an average increase of 28% per day, data tracked by Reuters shows.
“We only know the data provided by hospitals,” Frederic Valletoux, president of the French Hospitals Federation, said on France Info radio.
“The increase in the official data is already major, but the absolute numbers would no doubt be effectively much higher if we aggregated what is happening in retirement homes as well as the people who die at home or who are not counted.”
We knew supply chain impact would be happening....months ago.
Too bad we can’t be using this shut down time to begin bringing back much of our manufacturing.

That might not be a bad idea. Your chances of catching this increases exponentially as each day toward the peak passes. You can take steps to greatly reduce those chances by wearing PPE, including masks.

Riley County launches ‘drive-thru swabbing station’ for coronavirus testing
Riley County and the Konza Prairie Community Health Center set up a drive-thru swabbing station Monday to provide coronavirus testing.
Testing is only available for pre-screened patients who have written orders sent to the Riley County Health Department from a healthcare provider, according to a release from the City of Manhattan.
“The swabbing station is being established to provide an additional resource for the community,” said Riley County Health Officer Julie Gibbs. “The goal is to streamline the testing processes.”
People should be rototilling their front lawns for victory gardens...or you can eat grass; like the North Koreans.
When this is all over, there will be consequences.

People with underlying conditions such as:
1. heart disease
2. chronic lung disease
3. asthma
4. diabetes
5. people undergoing cancer treatment
6. people with weakened immune systems
I post this because at one point there were reports, many online articles, that hypertension/high blood pressure was a condition that could be a game changer.
It appears the CDC has shot that one down as it’s not even mentioned in their “protect yourself” video.
