I’m sorry about your mom’s cat. Sometimes, old cats live to be much older because they’re with someone who loves them. I believe that love makes a difference in all lives.
My opinion still hasn’t changed since March and that is that the world should have allowed the WuFlu to run its course, like any other flu so that people could deal with it sooner rather than later, with no artificial hindrances. But that’s just me.
Once in a while, I’ll see someone wearing a mask while driving, and I just don’t get it. I haven’t heard of many in the senior living and assisted care homes who have died from it, but folks around here are pretty hardy.

My grandmother survived the Spanish Flu back in 1918.
That claimed 675,000 out of a population of 103,200,000 — 65 out of every 10,000.
WuFlu fatalities are projected to reach about 250,000. Against a population of 320 million, out of every 10,000 people that’s 8 fatalities.
Not to say lives are expendable, but having a holy, flaming cow over something that’s having just 1/8th the impact...
