That’s just wrong. I wonder if my brother in Scranton is getting snow.

Good morning. I hope it can all be worked out to the advantage of your brother and yourself.

And congrats on the 500!

Thanks! It was just sitting there, all by its lonely, and no one else was up, so... ;o]

Kitteh is saying that it looks like Monday is right around the corner! Skeery!

Good morning.

The president of the Church has declared today as a day of worldwide fasting and prayer for those affected by COVID-19 and I do believe that’s all of us. In the world. So I’ll do my limited best to join in the fast, but the prayer? Piece of cake, since we can do that anywhere.

I feel a few pounds lighter now, and my foot is healing quite well. No signs of infection whatsoever. No pain, either, which is great!

The shower was awesome! Nice and not-too-hot with just the right force of water on the achy parts of my skin.

My sourdough starter is a day or two away from being ready to use or share. I can dry some and send it to you, if you’re interested. Just add water! ;o]

I appreciate the thought, but I’m not fond of sourdough bread. Plus we have yeast.

We had a worldwide prayer on Friday with Pope Francis. Poor old fellow, he looks so tired.

Leading a church and leading a country are things that cause leaders to age rapidly. As long as he is able, and even if he is declining in health, he has advisors to help make the major decisions.

Yesterday, I lasted a lot longer than I thought I would, and I don’t feel too tired at the moment. No way to know how the rest of today will go.

I have to call the airline after 0600 and see what they have done to my flights. Then I have to contact the shuttle service and let them know. Balderdash. Crikey. Shucky darn. Cusswords.

Tango duels and dirtybaskets. Flying fish! Mother of pearl!

Jake was out all night and has gone to bed for the day. Shannon is lurking under a lawn chair, hoping a really stupid squirrel will happen by.

I’m beginning to think I need to go back to paper maps because no matter which map service I use, it always wants to take me the long way around to where I need to go.

When I was first getting acquainted with the area, I bought a paper map at Walmart, and though I thought it was over-priced at the time, it may prove to be the most important piece of paper I have. Except for legal documents, of course. ;o]

I tried to call the airlines, and the robot said the wait time was from an hour to two hours, so I’ll try to do it online, as soon as I hear from my Real Brother and my Favorite Daughter.

I thought to change it for the first week in June so I could visit the Cussler Museum and take photos! That would be a lot of fun, for sure.

What a pain in the royal. Or something.

I’m not sure I could endure being the presence of those gorgeous cars in real life. Some of them make me want to burst into tears just looking at the pictures.

Yes, I know the feeling. I’ve been to several car museums and a couple of car shows (Barrett-Jackson being one of them) and there are no words. In fact, I should probably start downloading some of the car photos from photobucket and get them into my hard drive.

The restorations on some of them is beyond description. Favorite Daughter is OK, now all I have to do is wait to hear from Real Brother.

I. am. in. love.

I just saw Roger Allam and his “Endeavour” wife do a tango in White Tie and Tails, and I all but slobbered all over myself. That was SO beautiful!!

(OK. I’ll shut up, now.)

Different worlds. I’m going to take Patrick to Walmart to look for shorts, so that he can participate in his father’s yardwork plans this afternoon, instead of being forced to stay indoors playing computer games.

Poor Patrick, being forced to play indoors on a good, sunny spring day! Yes, he should revel in yard work so he can appreciate a hot shower. Or a cold one, when he’s done for the day.

I’ve thought of getting little potted things to place outside, but then decided I’m not going to be here permanently, so why bother? Maybe a herb garden, if I can find one at Walmart...
