A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter
Excellent! It’s always nice to have a back-up plan!
I’m watching the first episode of “Foyle’s War.” The last time I got the series, they never produced the first episode, even though I requested it twice, so I had no clue what what going on, or who was what or why. It’s beginning to make sense, now.
My morning was so messed up that I didn’t get much of anything done, so maybe tomorrow will be a better day. Post orifice, first thing, and Monday, probably the knee x-ray.
Rocky sent me a long text. She’s had insomnia too, but she’s hesitant to take melatonin in the dosage I do. She cleans house at night, but it’s been a long time since I’ve lived in an apartment that is so well insulated. Not even floor thumps! So I guess I don’t have to worry about her hearing me bumping around.
She said Harley had to have a fatty tumor removed from his hind leg and he’s not a happy little dog. He has this tiny little cone of shame on and was so embarrassed when I went to pet him a few mornings ago.
So. I need to take some pills and then trundle down the hall. I need another good night’s sleep!
Hoping for a full night’s sleep to fall upon you like a much cleaner blanket than James’s!
It did, for a while. Now I’m going to try again. Maybe I’ll get a few more hours’ sleep. Maybe.
And maybe I should just try to get a new life. This is ridiculous.
Good morning. I deduce all did not go as well as one hoped.
Good morning. All did not go as well as two hoped. But it is what it is, and tonight will be better.
Da morning floof want to play in mud puddles!!
It’s another day and another time of wondering what clumsiness I’ll perform today.
I think I’ve discovered the problem with my photos. It would seem MS has defaulted their program to the photos, and I need to find a way to undo that.
Be extra careful around puddles today. We have sometimes discussed having a Water Feature, but problems with the concept include kids, cats, and geese.
Vlad has arrived to eat last night’s leftover sausages.
I was on phone texting when I got a voice mail message, but there was nothing there. This day is going to be strange, I can tell.
I need to run around the block. HAH! It would certainly get my blood pumping and maybe I’d forget about how tired I am.
Leftover sausages sound good! Go, Vlad!
They were probably calling about your student loans or the extended warranty on your car. That’s what I get calls about.
I have post-traumatic stress regarding messages on my phone. I wish businesses making these calls would be struck by lightning.
I will not answer a call with a number I don’t recognize. Back in the day, I always had an unlisted number (woman alone, and all that) and since I gave the number to only a choice few, it cut down on calls. Until the day of the telemarketer.
Then phone numbers were sold by the blocks to companies wanting to cold call. Then laws came about it. Then there were the harassing collection calls, and laws were made about that as well, and then someone came up with the idea of the “DoNotCall” registry. It doesn’t work, now. Technology has once again outstripped the human need.
And we’re back to student loans, extended warranties and medicare options.
Usually, the first and third weeks of the month are the worst for those calls. I’ll get sometimes as many as four a day from as many different states for about a week, then nothing, then they start up again from other states.
Sometimes they call my house phone, and when that goes to recording, they call my cell. *meh*
I had a landline, but I used it for my fax, and the first six weeks after I got it, the fax would ring several times a day, often in succession, and I figured whoever had the number before me was running from a bill collector. When the consistently got the fax tone in their ears, they quit calling. It took about three months, but then it was silent. I had to get rid of it because of the cost, but within a week after I need, I needed a fax machine. They really come in handy when applications need to be filled out. Hmmm....that gives me a thought...
A thought about a fax machine? I have to say they don’t cross my mind often.
We did choir practice. Tom may be over later. Frank’s friend’s family will bring him back at some point, or text to ask if we can come get him, depending on Events.
It rained.
It’s because I have so many forms to fill out, with so very many pages, several times a year. It’s just easier to do it from home, like stamps.com., because CFIDS rules, and I have to adjust my life around it. Every anniversary of whatever agency, I have to fill out an updated form. Some days, I’m doing all I can to just fill them out correctly, never mind being up to driving someplace to pay for faxing on a strange machine. It’s much easier on the printer I’m familiar with.
It’s clouded up to a fare-thee-well, this morning, and it certainly explains why my hands hurt so much even from the time I got up. Again.
Am I a not-so-nice person because I want this day to be over with?
I’m tired already, too.
Frank has returned from his friend’s house in one piece.
It’s great that Frank is back. I hope he enjoyed his time away. Is it nap time, yet?
Thank you.
Frank had a good time. He’s the perfect houseguest.
