The new washer will come on Friday afternoon. I’ll go to the laundromat sometime tomorrow.

I probably said that about a pic of the laundry room because I wanted to know how the color peach would look on my phone. The camera is kinda wonky on it.

You mean a peach tastes good? Or a laundry room tastes good?

Delightful Morning Floof has a tiny beard!

Good morning.

I made a journal entry hoping to only spend a few minutes on it, but it was a continuation of yesterday’s entry (well, Tuesday’s, when I was up in my night) and the two were actually recounting my trip to CO. No clue why it has taken me so long to get it done, but ohwell.

Then I decided I was going to rearrange the kitchen counter and that took a little longer than I expected because I had to refill a couple of the flour canisters.

Yesterday, I was able to get about an inch done on the afghan, having charted the water and part of the water grasses. Since the grasses take up two more sheets lengthwise, I thought I’d just get the water chart and start of the leaves crocheted and then get onto the grasses. That’s only one color and for a few blocks each row.

Once I get the grasses charted, the rest will be by instruction only, so I’ll have to make sure they’re written properly. Anyway, I’ll be busy for a while!

Godzilla is trying to open her door again, but I have a caribiner on it. She’s bored. I may have to take her in to get her wings clipped because she tries to fly and I’m afraid she’s going to hurt herself as there isn’t enough room in her cage for flying.

Kitteh would sit on your newspaper and bite you if you try to do the crossword puzzle.

Good morning. It’s foggy here. Outdoors, I mean. My brain is pretty good this time of day. I’m going to Walmart after breakfast: we’re almost out of cat food! Also on today’s agenda, the laundromat.

Sally came by yesterday. Nothing interesting was going on, so she eventually left again.

I’m sure kitteh would be most pleased to claim the crossword puzzle in the paper! If I could afford the WSJ...

Well, I think I’ve solved the sleeping problem but I’ll let you know tomorrow. Last night’s good sleep may have been just fatigue from so many nights of insomnia. I removed the morphine from the last dose of pills for the day. It’s notorious for keeping me awake if I take too much, and it was only in the last five months that I’ve been able to take it at night. So maybe I’m not, again. We’ll see.

I have to go to Walmart too, but they don’t open until 0700. I need to get water and some shampoo. I had to use up my water stash because it was blocking the back door and the water heater closet, so now I’m down to the small cases (24) instead of the massively heavy and awkward 40+ cases. It’s OK if one has room to store them, but I don’t. So I’ll get some cases of 24 today, since I just opened the last of the big ones.

So. Drama Queen finds nothing interesting in a place that doesn’t miss her? I suspect she may make her visits fewer and farther between until she wants something. Poor thing.

I said Hi and all that, and I told the story of the washer. I said Kathleen could not go to her house or other destinations ... with no explanation. I agreed that our cats are better than the cats at her place of residence.

And that, as they say, is that.

I need to plan music for Sunday, and then it will be off to Walmart. I’ll send a snap of the laundry room when it’s a little lighter upstairs.

When it comes to what I mean, it’s anyone’s guess.

*I* certainly don’t know.

Once you throw a phrase out into the ether, it’s on its own.

I still need to go to Walmart.

Welp, I’m back from my run to Walmart. I was in and out and on my way home by 0720. I didn’t have much to put away (the water is still in the truck) but I had to take a pain pill, so I’m a little late at answering.

Happy Friday Eve to you, as well, ArGee! And as for what you mean, I can take it any number of ways, unless it is stated specifically. So it’s all good!

Now because I suddenly got tired, I’m going to relax with a crochet hook and watch some “Endeavour.”

I’m back from Walmart, too. After lunch, I’ll go to the laundromat.

I’m thinking I’ll have better days ahead, but it seems the fatigue has other ideas. But then, long about 0900 I begin to run out of steam. Then I keep asking myself if its age or illness that does that? Seems to be an eternal question for me. *sigh*

And what an elegant tail it is, too!

Good morning.

As of today, I’m 10# away from my weight goal! No clue how long it will take me to get there, but its encouraging, anyway.

When I was done with my shower, I checked and no one was here, yet, so I wrote to Charlie, then walked over to mail it. I was hoping to find my checks, but they haven’t come, yet. They’ve probably been sent media mail, so all I can do is hope they make it by payday. One thing is sure...I’m going to order more on payday, just in case!

I have to find a place that sells mailers besides Walmart because they never have the size I need. I may end up buying some on eBay, just because there is no office supply store here. I’m partial to the padded mailers, but if Walmart carries them, they don’t order enough to meet the demand.

Wow! It’s 69°! Time to swap out the summer clothes, soon!

Good mornings, all. Lowe’s just called and asked if they could bring the washer in an hour instead of between 12 and 4. Of course!

Now I have to get dressed.
