What a precious little morning tabby!
Good morning.
The laundry is washed, and just waiting for me to hang it up, but once again, I’ll wait for a bit before I do the standing up thing.
I have to go get my morphine this morning. I forgot to get it Saturday, and since I still have some, it wasn’t necessary to go get it yesterday. When I go for that, I’ll drop off some letters at the USPS since they’re too wide or fat to go into the drop box at the community room.
All of a sudden, I have a bazillion things to mail. Including the little backpack the Real Brother loaned me.

Good morning. That reminds me, I also have laundry to do!
According to the poster, the kitten turned up on their patio in Spain and made itself at home.
Tom the Son turned up at our house last night; he was off work and at loose ends. He watched most of “The Princess Bride” with us and then went home to sleep. He’s working morning shift now, has to be at work at 7:00 a.m.

Favorite Daughter and I watched about a third of “The Blob” and then I fell over into my soup. Or something that was in front of me. Probably, my lap. She had never seen the movie, and had no clear idea who Steve McQueen was. But she fell in love.
Anyway, there was a LOT of laundry, this morning! I had to hang the overflow on the bedroom doorjamb. They may dry faster than the ones in the bat room.
I haven’t seen “The Princess Bride” in ages. I think it’s time!

Didn’t know about Steve McQueen? Hasn’t she seen “The Great Escape”?

We saw it when it first came out, but that was in 1963. She wasn’t born until 1967, and to my knowledge, she never cared for war movies. I can’t tell you if she saw it when she left home.
Favorite Son is the war movie buff.

Good morning, all. Happy Monday!
The daughter is back in Ohio. I’m still asymptomatic. Mrs. ArGee and I are working out a new schedule with a puppy who will be 11 weeks old on Wednesday.

Crikey.
I got very sleepy, probably because the wind was blowing, and when I woke up, the temperature outside had dropped 15°.
I feel like I’m in a time warp. Or a cold snap.

I would like to do that, but I have other stuff.
Kathleen is working on her end-of-year test. I already knew she doesn’t know capitalization and punctuation very well. We were more interested in phonics!
Then I’ll go to Walmart.

I hope the new puppy agrees with your decision for her new schedule. ;o]

Providing my deposit comes in today, I’ll go to Walmart tomorrow. There’s a lot of stuff I need, for sure!

We’ve been watching the wildlife drama. Shannon is chasing all the squirrels. She sneaks up under the platform feeder while they’re eating the bird seed. When they see her, they jump down in a panic and she takes off in pursuit. Hasn’t caught one yet, but she’s obviously having a good time.

And little does Shannon know that a few more days of this exercise, and she’ll be slim and svelte once more!

I would take a couple days of cold snap.
Shannon has lost quite a lot of weight the last three years. I think that’s related to her burst of predatory energy. Jake, meanwhile, has bulked up and often can’t be bothered to get in a bed: he just passes out on the floor. Reminds me of Tom the Son sometimes.

There is something to be said for a cold snap. Mainly, that it makes me appreciate whatever heat I can absorb while its here.
I’ve lost weight since going on my trip, and I need to keep losing until another 15 pounds have been shed. Then, I’ll most likely look like a gaunt, crepey-skinned old lady! :o])

But you’ll be in better shape for chasing squirrels.
