A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter
I went outside to commune with trees. They don’t have much to say, which is nice.
Ah, yes. The slight whisper of the leaves, the songs of the wild birds, a few buzzing insects... Great place to be. It’s windy here.
I was in the bathroom, washing my hands and both lights above the sink went out. Usually, its one at a time. I went to change them and the cover snapped off in my hands. It’s on a hinge but it broke. Normally, I’ll go in from the side and remove and replace a bulb, but since it was both, I thought it would be easier to lift the cover. HAH!
So tomorrow, I get to tell Chuck.
In checking its progress, the printer has made it to Chicago, as of last night. :o] I don’t think it will be here before Wednesday.
When I go to do the wash tomorrow early, I’ll put in my vacation hold card.
Sounds like a plan.
I’m feeling cranky and agitated today. Maybe I’ll spend more time with trees later.
I’m so sorry you feel out of sorts. I hate when I get that way and as a result, I usually try not to subject other people to my pouty whims.
And I have such horrible mood swings with CFIDS. Unpredictable and filled with rage. So I don’t think it’s fair for other people to have to put up with me when I get that way.
Anyway, I hope you feel better, soon.
My plans including singing at Mass, a nap with Jake, and then maybe more trees.
More trees will make your day mo’ bettah da kine!
I sat in the back yard under a tree and read a book and talked to Jake. Jake has a great deal to say about trees, mainly, “Mao.”
:o])
The morning floof looks like Black Beard!
Good morning.
The laundry is done, and I seem to have hit a rock or landed in the Sargasso Sea. I have no idea what to do next. Wha’ hoppen?
It will all come to me, I’m sure. For now, I’m just going to sit here and let the pain dissipate for a bit. Maybe listen to another uplifting talk in a few minutes.
Good morning. I’m sure I have laundry in progress, but I don’t do anything with it until DP gets up. I dreamed that former resident moved back in. It was not pleasant.
Oh, argh. That had to be in the nightmare category.
It’s time to go hang the sleep shirts and then I’ll try to figure out what is next. Maybe I’ll work on the toiletry thingys. Or make the bed. Or panic.
Don’t panic. It doesn’t help.
And yes, it was a nightmare.
Good morning. We had lots of naps over the weekend. She sleeps better through the night but when the sun is up, so is she.
I had a friend from Britain who used to say, “Two people divided by a common tongue.”
Good morning. Happy Monday.
Almost, but not quite, into a new morning routine with the puppy.
It’s good to get up with the sun! I have cats to help with that.
Ok. The toiletries are done, but it took me longer than I anticipated. I’ll finish packing as soon as I decide what to wear for the trip. GAH! What am I DOING???
I don’t recall ever seeing a bird stretch when they wake up, but Camilla/Godzilla stretches when she wakes up! It’s the equivalent of raising her arms above her head, then stretching one leg at a time. Entertainment, for sure!
Now, I’ll rest for a bit, then go make the bed. The shirts are hanging up, the vacation hold card is in the outgoing mail box, and except for getting some change for a tip for the shuttle driver, and any vending machines I come across, I think I’m about good to go.
The bird need to be cleaned up and fed. but that’s a five-minute job, so, no biggie.
I’m so happy you have a puppy to wake up to. I bet she’s beginning to fill the void.
I got an email from the bishop, and we will start going back to meetings, but with the “unusual” masks and no handshakes, and an empty pew between folks. We’ll be going alphabetically, so if I wanted to go, I would be in the 1030 time slot. It’s only once a month for now, and Sunday is our day, but guess who won’t be there? And of course, they’re cautioning ol’ folks like me not to go. :o[
I don’t mind getting up with the sun, but both my daughter and my wife are not morning people. And the puppy is, for now, insistent that if she’s up she gets a human nearby.
Since she hasn’t developed any habits that let me trust her out with me, it’s a bit of a challenge.
Today, during normal “wakey” hours, she’s going to learn she can be alone in her enclosure with the door closed.
