A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter
My ancestors were pretty risk-averse, but yours did exciting stuff.
Yes, they did, and it didn’t start in the last 200 years, either!
I just got a phone call from one of my nieces in AZ who is trying to help clean up the place her dad and step-mother lived in. She’s been putting aside a few things for me and ran across a book of my dad’s that I’ve been wanting since I was a kid. She’s going to send it to me after I get back. :o])
You just said that again, “after I get back.”
How very considerate of your niece, and you’ll have a lot of gifts waiting for you when you return.
I’m going to Walmart to get things to put in the new refrigerator ;-).
Ummm... What am I missing? Should I not leave? Should I not speak of returning? Should I just not come back? :o|
I’m just attempting humor. Not to worry. You should go, have a spectacularly great time, and then return to find all your deliveries and removals have gone excellently.
Humor? What’s humor?
Oh yes — the book is the one by Charlie Russell.
Oh, that will be a lot of fun for you.
Kitteh is wondering what humor is and why?
Good morning.
The shower has been had and I’m going to actually write a letter to Charlie. I thought I’d call him, but he likes to get mail so I’ll write to him. With my old creaky, disobedient fingers, I don’t know how I’m going to get the letters formed so they don’t look like chicken scratches!
Yesterday, on a whim, I changed out the bathroom acoutrements from one frog theme to another. It will look new by the time I get back. *eep*
I replaced a shower curtain yesterday. We don’t have a theme.
Having a bathroom dedicated to froggy things is better than cluttering up my house with them. Though there is some of that going on. I got both of these sets at Walmart when they still had lay-away, so I just got the whole set and two months later, it was home. I really wish they hadn’t done away with lay-away. That was the best thing ol’ Sam Wall ever invented.
Anyway, the frogs help to keep my mind balanced on the happy side. ;o]
Frogs are cute. So are bats, flamingos, and cats.
Yes, all of the above!
Back from our outdoor exertion. We rescued a turtle again. It’s cooler today: we’re opening the windows.
I’m going to go to the post orifice and see what I have to do to get a vacation hold put on the mail.
It’s going to be 100° today with winds over 21 mph this afternoon. I’m going to be out of my comfort zone being with people to stay up past 1700...
Whoosh wind!
I’m cleaning out my closet. I just found several bottles of Sicilian Lemon Juice that I had hidden from That Previous Resident. I felt sure I had them.
Now, I can keep them in the pantry like normal people.
I’m very glad you found it and can keep it in the pantry, but here, the Scilian Lemon Juice, will, like other things, have to wait until I get back! ;o]
I don’t use a lot, but that Other Resident would use it in big cups of water, which she would leave sitting around the house for the Staff to clean up.
ARRGH!!!
I just ran some errands, and I actually warmed up on the way home. I picked up a vacation hold card from the USPS and then stopped at Walmart for some small bottles of water. More than I’ll ever need, but I wanted some for the trip. And a package of Biscotti. For the trip.
Walmart was on my way, so...
Hi, everybody. Happy Friday.
Things were a little higgledy-piggledy with the Puppy on Wed night and Thursday morning, then work started.
She’s fine. She’s adorable. She’s adapting to us. And her first vet visit is behind us.
She seems to know when I am going to have a few minutes to come out and see her and she falls asleep just before.
