Maybe Shannon is lonely?
I sometimes have dreams that reflect those things that weighed on my mind, whether it was for cleaning or a move or something else.

I think Shannon misses Tom. He was often up at night, paying attention to her. She’s a funny old girl.
It’s raining again. Both cats got wet. I checked my Lego.com account yesterday, and the castle set is still pending, “Awaiting New Stock.” It will come when it does.

“They should reduce livers,” said Frank. I think I’m getting as dotty as Shannon.

I know the feeling.
I’m not aiming for a rocking chair, but I’m not aiming to go out early, either.

It is Wednesday. It is also Trash Day, because the city made an adjustment due to the Federal holiday on Monday.

Missing Tom makes sense. And you’re right - she’s a funny old girl.
Sometimes, companies wait until an item actually ships before they take the money out. The must have a replacement date or they wouldn’t have said it was coming.

There is an “excessive heat warning” for today, so I’m going to go mail my Favorite Son’s birthday card then come home and shut the doors before the sun comes up over the mesa.
Life is good!
I may wash off one my may plastic chairs today...

I think Lego is just having trouble keeping up with orders. Maybe it will come for my birthday, in July. And speaking of birthdays, I need to get my Only Brother’s card in the mail.

I guess I should change my Real Brother’s name to my Only Brother, since the passing of my Not Real Brother over a year ago.
But old habits die hard.
I’ve been looking for a pattern for a knitted bomber jacket and have been totally unsuccessful. I had the pattern, once, but I think someone stole it from me when I was in TX. I really wanted to make it, too!

I think deceased brothers count as brothers permanently. My Only Brother is the only one I’ve ever had.

True. I can’t erase the Brother who left me Behind any more than the Other Brother and the Sister who left me Behind. And the ones on my dad’s side that I’ve never met — a Sister and two more Brothers.
Counting all of them, and the three marriages between my parents, there were 10 of us. And three different last names! It’s mind boggling.
And before I forget again, that same crow I saw stealing an egg last week or the week before, took another one. This time from a small brown wren. It’s something to see when a tiny bird parent goes after a baby-thief that is 10 times the size of the parent. Losing battle, though. :o[

Speaking of little birds, since Gonzo is in the small cage, he is now screaming at me when I’m out of the room, again, not just when I go out the door. So I’m not happy with the arrangement. Camilla is confused, and can’t figure out why she can’t get to him. *sigh* I can’t seem to win.

"Happy Wednesday, everyone." Though it's rainy in much of the southeast today, the Cape looks clear for a possible launch. In less than an hour, America is due to return to space!
Good Luck to Spacex, and to America's courageous astronauts!

I hope it works out. My mom says it hasn’t rained in Florida in way too long. They had to relocate alligator from the pond by her building because he didn’t have enough water.
Meanwhile, we’re expecting rain every day until Whenever.
Vlad is going to bake Frank’s birthday cake.
